Girls Islamic Organisation
GIRLS ISLAMIC ORGANISATION, abbreviated as GIO, is a unit of the Ladies Wing of the Jamaat-E-Islami Hind. It’s prime objective is to prepare the students and young women for the reconstruction of the society in the light of divine guidance. The organization is present in different cities all over India, with the help of an incharge team regionally to assist and supervise the periodical activities. Weekly classes comprising of topics from both the areas of Deen and Duniya are being discussed, in different areas of the cities.

We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2000, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Muslim Organization upon: support, empowerment, and progress. Girls Islamic Organisation of India
(GIO) is a student organisation for girls started in the year 1984.
GIO is actively working towards achieving the following goals:
1.To liberate girls and women community from the shackles of superstition and traditional dogmas by providing them both islamic and modern education.
2.To cultivate values and ideal among the coming generation on islamic lines.
3. To educate with islamic etiquettes and to establish it in their daily lives.
4. To inculcate the young girls with the right islamic knowledge and perspective.
We are an organisation of female students in India working among girls to establish a morgily upright society based on Islamic principles, The nature of GIO is to fine tune the girls on the grounds of Islam.
WEEKLY CLASSES
Classes are conducted exclusively by girls to prepare students and young women in individual and collective aspects of their life according to Quran and sunnah.
WORKSHOPS
Workshops are conducted on a regular basis with the objective of skill development.
TARBIYYAH
Members and associates are given training for self develpoment in various aspects, keeping the Qur’an and Sunnah as guides.
ISLAMIC SOCIETY
The true concept of Islam is inculcated among Muslim students and young women to lead their life in the right way.
Classes are conducted in over 15 schools around Chennai. Competitions are conducted online and offline in schools and colleges.
PUBLIC RELATIONS
We work on building relations with people from different organisations and groups.
MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM
Selected associates are trained to become members by reading important books and pondering over them.
RESIDENTIAL CAMPS
Summer residential camps are conducted for a few days of fun learning and entertainment .
